Montanhar is the story of an individual fossilized in his life. One day he receives a letter inviting him to take a step aside and embark on a great adventure. It’s the story of a group that takes the crazy bet of believing in the existence of a mountain that would be the highest ever seen and would rest on a continent invisible to the human eye. Makeshift climbers form a crew and set off on an expedition. Their ascent to this summit becomes an inner quest as much as a collective journey. Inspired by Mont Analogue, the famous unfinished novel by René Daumal, this original show also draws inspiration from the songs and popular traditions of the Pyrenees.
