Culture at Barp: Talence Symphony Orchestra

CULTURAL SEASON OF BARP

Composed of around forty amateur and professional musicians, the Talence Symphony Orchestra is an association founded in 1944. For over eighty years, it has offered a repertoire that spans from baroque to contemporary, including the great works of classicism and romanticism. Since the start of the 2025 season, the orchestra has been under the direction of Éloi Tembremande, who brings a new artistic dynamic. This program will highlight the film music of Joe Hisaishi, the musical illustrator of the films by director Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away), along with some works by Jean Sibelius, Johannes Brahms…
