This free adaptation of the collection Free Neighborhoods brings together several fragments of stories dedicated to workers in care, education, social services, and the gig economy. Through a writing style that is both documentary and poetic, the performance gives voice to those who experience the concrete effects of neoliberal logics on bodies, human relationships, and connection-based professions. By intertwining unique trajectories and diverse voices, the performance creates a sensitive fresco of contemporary work and questions our present: how can we continue to endure, resist, and recreate community in a world governed by performance and profitability?
