Guided Tour of Nernier: Through the Eyes of Painters
About
In the 1950s, Nernier earned the nickname "Village of Painters" thanks to the presence of numerous artists who found in its picturesque streets, colorful facades, and lakeside landscapes an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
Accompanied by a Heritage Guide from Savoie Mont Blanc, embark on a journey to discover this rich artistic history through the works and paths of painters, potters, and visual artists who have left their mark on the village. You will encounter figures such as Enrico Vegetti, Bernard Lacroix, Jacques Marchand, and Ellis Zbinden, all artists who contributed to Nernier's cultural renown.
The tour will also be an opportunity to discuss the architectural heritage of the village and the imprint left by architect Morice Novarina.
A stroll between art, heritage, and landscapes, to discover Nernier through the eyes of those who painted, shaped, and celebrated it.
