Horse Festival

The national horse day transforms into a festival in Vendargues! Join us at the La Cadoule space on Sunday, September 27, 2026, to celebrate the horse, the Camargue, and all equestrian activities.

Day's Program

Start of activities at 11:30 AM:

• Demonstrations and shows to honor the horse while respecting animal welfare.

• Stand "La Ferme du Petit Paradis de Vendargues": wooden games, exhibitions, carriage rides with our municipal horses and Mr. Dubois's team.

• Small pony rides for children.

• Food and drinks provided by A.V.E.E.C.

And to liven up this beautiful day, the Buffalo Bill Wild West troupe, a lively group from the bison plains of the Far West, accompanied by the sounds of colts and saloon music.
A day with FREE entry, organized by A.V.E.E.C. and the City of Vendargues, with the support of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.

Ongoing:

• Artiscènes, from Charente-Maritime, will present Cossack vaulting, liberty, and Haute École to the sound of the accordion.

• The Nadal company and its valiant knights will compete in thrilling jousting tournaments.

• The Cavaliers de Gallus will showcase a new special dressage routine.

• The Tour Magno Gardiano association, a riding school from Nîmes, will represent the Camargue beautifully in all major events, with impressive performances throughout the day.

• The Cavaliers du Trident, a Vendargues equestrian center, will present its young students participating in all equestrian competitions in the South.

• Presentation of the champions of the Camargue horse breed 2026.
