CULTURAL SEASON CITY OF SALLES

Once upon a time, there was Wendy, a fearless American singer living in her own musical comedy. Accompanied by her loyal sidekicks, the “Muffin Tops,” her dog Banjo, and her accordion, Wendy takes you on a whimsical and quirky musical journey. In the extravagant world of Welcome Wendy, folk flirts with soul and hip-hop, cabaret with sitcom, chic with bad taste. Whitney Anne Fliss, Gilles Lavanant, and Thomas Preuvost met within the Slowfest collective as musicians in the Slowfest Orchestra. Gilles does up-cycled sewing. Thomas creates instruments from reclaimed objects. Whitney weaves words of love and hope, defying the empire of materialism. The project has been eco-designed to travel by bike and train.
