CULTURAL SEASON CITY OF SALLES

"Imprints" was born from a reflection on the relationship we have with the norms that shape our bodies and ways of being. The choreography explores the tension between control and freedom through opposing states of body: precision and relaxation, uniformity and uniqueness, mastery and instinct. By intertwining a structured choreographic writing with influences from urban dance, the piece opens a space where movement gradually gains spontaneity and authenticity. Without providing a definitive answer, "Imprints" invites a sensitive reflection on the place of individuality within the collective and on the marks that the norms we strive to conform to leave within us.
