Two evenings to explore art differently, through documentaries that reveal the journey and vision of major artists. Each screening is introduced and followed by a moment of exchange and debate.

To kick off this season, the film club offers a minimalist film, "Animal Totem" by Benoît Delépine featuring Samir Guesmi, a mysterious hero we follow with his rolling suitcase, across fields, from Beauvais airport to La Défense.
A quirky and poetic road movie.

After ten films co-directed with Gustave Kervern (Louise-Michel, Mammuth, Erasing History...etc), Benoît Delépine signs his first feature film solo. Nourished by his ecological convictions and his taste for contemplating nature, Animal Totem is a radical tale, infused with dark humor and a luminous revolt. It retains its flavor of poetic nonsense in this first work that can be viewed as a kind of enchanted interlude.
