Born in 1961, she lives and works in the south of France.
A self-taught sculptor, she shapes clay with spontaneity and instinct, bringing to life characters imbued with sensitivity. Her universe is filled with her observations of humanity, the variety and richness she perceives within it. A quest for sincerity rather than perfection. She stretches her gaze beyond ideal aesthetics to write the poetry of human life.

Sylviane Rieunier

My art navigates between the depths of the ocean and the vast expanses of the imaginary, working with acrylic, experimenting with materials and knife techniques. My methods offer me great freedom of expression and movement, allowing me to explore the boundaries between abstraction and figuration. My canvases immerse the viewer in a universe where the mind is invited to escape, following a little melody that encourages dreaming and introspection.
