The mobile health prevention unit of the city of Montpellier, the CCAS, the association "Bien Vivre à Aiguelongue," and other local stakeholders are organizing a day of awareness dedicated to senior health.
Program includes:

Workshop and awareness on oral health led by students from the dental faculty

Assistance with access to rights provided by local associations and the CCAS

Information on activities offered by golden age clubs

Distribution of colon cancer screening kits by the CRCDC team for women and men aged 50 to 74

Screening for frailty with ICOPE for individuals aged 60 and over, offered by a professional from CPTS Montpellier 1

Information and awareness on adapted physical activity by the Maison du Sport Santé Ma Vie, with the possibility to schedule appointments for physical condition assessments

Information on various care packages offered by the family mutual
This initiative aims to reach out to seniors by providing an action close to their living environment. The goal is to provide them with a health village to assist them in accessing their rights (retirement, mutual insurance, etc.) and also to assess their health in order to limit the loss of autonomy.
