Guided Tour of a Laboratory on the Theme: Modern Molecular Physiology: From Gene to Whole Plant (IPSiM – LEPSE)

On the occasion of the Science Festival 2026, many people from IPSiM and LEPSE will come together to provide a better understanding of the real world of research.
This visit is organized for students of the BTS Class.
The goal is to show how a set of complementary technologies is organized in a coherent approach to clone a gene, discover the function of the protein it encodes, locate the sites of its expression in the plant, determine the conditions of this expression, and finally characterize the physiological function and the resulting phenotype for the plant. On this occasion, students will participate in various workshops presented by the agents of IBIP.
