EXHIBITION: CANAL DU MIDI - UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE 1996 - 2026

The Canal du Midi, through images, video, and paintings… and three artists to tell its story! The exhibition will be held all summer at the Lauragais Museum and will continue until the European Heritage Days next September.
It brings together the works of three creators: Mika, the photographer; Philippe Larde, videographer; and Mireille Rudelle, painter.
From July 11 to September 20, open every day except Tuesday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Horizons d’Eaux - a contemporary art and live art journey along the Canal du Midi, The Canal du Midi World Heritage UNESCO - Objects from the Canal du Midi - mirrors of past activities, and also the exhibition Roots and Currents by artists Malika Agueznay, Julie Chaffort, Michel Cure, Lieven de Boeck, Monique Frydman, and Béatrice Utrilla.

In partnership with Les Abattoirs, Museum – Frac Occitanie Toulouse, the Navigable Waterways of France in connection with the members of the Entente for the Canal du Midi, the Town Hall of Castelnaudary, and the Convivencia festival. Local partners: students from the municipal cultural workshops in visual arts, led by Stéphane Pilmann and the association A vue d'œil.
