15TH EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT OR DIWALI

Baixas will host the 15th edition of the Festival of Light, also known as Diwali, a grand traditional celebration held in India. Organized in partnership with the municipality, this cultural and festive event will take place at Château Les Pins, from 9 AM to 7 PM, featuring a varied program of activities, talks, and entertainment for both young and old.
The day will kick off at 10 AM with the opening ceremony (puja), followed at 10:15 AM by the official inauguration in the presence of Gilles Foxonet, mayor of Baixas, elected officials, and members of the ACSI association.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy the various activities offered. Access to each activity will require the presentation of two raffle tickets, a way to participate in the activities while also entering the draw scheduled for 5 PM.
To enhance this immersion in Indian culture, quick bites from an Indian snack bar will be available on-site, featuring delicious dishes with Indian flavors as well as chai tea.
