For his tenth album "Brasiliano", Lucas Santtana brings together eleven prestigious international artists to celebrate the Brazilian language, as well as all Romance languages, its cousins.

Brasiliano arrives to take its place in the dance, a ball to which the entire Iberian Peninsula is invited, just like Jamaica and all corners of Brazil. It’s not just about singing the history and pathways of "our Portuguese" (A história da nossa língua), but about reflecting on our relationship with the language and with other languages, and through this reflection, taking a step forward in our quest for self-knowledge.

Lucas Santtana promotes a formidable orgy of sounds, voices, and languages, thus reflecting the chaotic evolution inherent to all languages. A concept album, Brasiliano is structured around a clear political idea, albeit (always) scandalous: it is high time we proudly embraced Brazil's mixed language, a language that owes nothing to anyone – and which could even be a creditor to some.
