Flaran Abbey - BICENTENNIAL OF PHOTOGRAPHY

A high-quality departmental photographic collection has been built over these 16 years, and it is this photographic journey into the theme of the rural world, here or elsewhere, that we wish to offer to the public as part of the Bicentennial of Photography.

More or less known photographers are represented, each with their own way of seeing, allowing the public to explore a wide variety of expressions on a common thread, between documentary, artistic, or intimate approaches, and using different means (from film to digital, from old cameras to smartphones, from black and white to color).

The retrospective exhibition of the 16 photographers, each with their unique universes, nonetheless highlights what has linked each exhibition, such as the capture of gestures, the places of agricultural work, and the impact of human action on the landscape.

As part of learning to read images and transmitting the history of photography to the public, it constitutes a very rich resource to be explored.

Pricing: Adult: €7 (From 18 years old), Student: €3.50 (Reduced rate).
