New York tenor saxophonist James Brandon Lewis and Chicago drummer Chad Taylor pay tribute to jazz giant John Coltrane on the centenary of his birth.

More specifically, to the duo Coltrane formed with Rashied Ali that produced the album "Interstellar Space" recorded in 1967. This bold, wildly free, and radical record stands as one of the most significant monuments of free jazz and avant-garde jazz of the 1960s.

With "Radiant Imprints," this new duo also delivers raw power and soulful sensitivity shrouded in mystery.
