GÉRALDINE LAURENT & LOUIS SCLAVIS

These two musicians first cross paths in 2025 for the Sons d'Hiver festival, initiated by
Louis Sclavis, an essential figure in French jazz, an incredible improviser and
breathtaking composer nurtured by free jazz, encounters, and travels.

Géraldine Laurent has also established herself as a very important artist on the European scene for over twenty years, accumulating awards, accolades, and especially remarkable collaborations: Rhoda Scott, Laurent de Wilde, Anne Pacéo,
or even Aldo Romano and Henri Texier, loyal companions of Louis Sclavis. The joy of sharing and virtuosity without showiness, between Afro-American tradition and European improvisation, saxophone and clarinet converse among the stars, freely.

An incandescent duo that is truly wonderful.
