Demonstration: Prehistoric Hunting Weapon Shooting - European Heritage Days

The Saint-Michel chapel is built above the cave of the same name, occupied since the melting of the Ossau glacier, just under 20,000 years ago. This site offers the opportunity to learn about the hunting weapons used by our ancestors, such as the spear with a propeller and the bow. 2 sessions offered throughout the day.
If weather conditions permit, you will also be able to descend to the cave.
