Vocal Group of Mondelle

The Vocal Group of Mondelle, choir from St Sulpice, will be in concert on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 6 PM at the church of St Victor near Couffouleux and Rabastens. This choir brings together about thirty singers, who rehearse in St Sulpice under the direction of Stéphane Berrone. Their repertoire is varied, ranging from sacred music with Bach, Fauré, or Jenkins, to French songs, as well as music from different countries: Cuba, Bolivia, Liberia, Dalmatia. They are accompanied on piano by Charlotte Couleau. Charlotte Couleau will also participate in this concert as a soprano, accompanied on piano by Stéphane Berrone, with whom she forms the duo Orfeo for piano and lyrical singing recitals. Other performers will enhance this concert with their talent: Jean-Louis Vaysse on trumpet and Guy Vernheres on accordion. The entry fee for this concert will be 10 euros, and 8 euros for children. This concert will be held in partnership with the association "Les Amis de l’Église de St Victor," which has been very active for many years in the renovation and maintenance of this church. The concert is one of the events related to Heritage Days. Attending this concert will also be a support for this association. The Vocal Group is looking forward to welcoming many of you to share their passion for choral singing, and perhaps you will feel inspired to join them in the fall; the choir is open to all, rehearsing Thursday evenings from 8 PM to 9:30 PM at the Grange de Mondelle in St Sulpice. They have many projects, including a trip to Naples, Italy, to meet an Italian choir, and for Christmas, they will renew the concert they shared with the St Sulpice harmony orchestra on December 19 at the church of Rabastens.
