Guided visit : The historic center of Uzes - Uzès, Town of Art and History

The city of Uzès has an exceptionally rich heritage. with the Duchy castle, the “Fenestrelle” tower, the only circular romanesque tower in France, and the Cathedral with it's exquisite 17th century organ.

The town, which has been preserved and renovated since the 1960s, was awarded the « Town of Art and History » label in 2008.

Let us guide you through the historic centre where you will discover the fascinating history of a city whose origins date back to antiquity.

On wednesday mornings, come and enjoy the farmers’ market in the « Place aux Herbes », which dates back to the 13th century.
