With Grèn Sémé, the Réunionese maloya is reinvented in a modern fusion, blending traditions of the Indian Ocean, African pop, and electronic sounds. Driven by the engaged and poetic lyrics of Carlo De Sacco, the quintet constructs a unique musical universe where the Creole language interacts with danceable rhythms, organic arrangements, and a decidedly contemporary energy.

Through their albums and their new EP Maloya Gazé, Grèn Sémé reveals a sunny and festive facet of this iconic music from La Réunion, oscillating between trance, poetry, and an invitation to travel.
