EXHIBITION "LAND OF LIGHT, THE ROUSSILLON OF MODERN PAINTERS" - HOUSE OF CATALANITY

Land of Light, the Roussillon of Modern Painters invites the public to discover the evolution of Roussillon painting between 1870 and 1968. Presented at the House of Catalanity in partnership with the Can Iaio Gallery, the exhibition highlights artists who, while drawing inspiration from the major movements of modern art (Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, Neo-Impressionism...), developed an artistic identity deeply rooted in the territory. Iconic landscapes, scenes of daily life, Catalan traditions, and local heritage compose a journey tracing the cultural richness and history of Roussillon through the eyes of its painters.
