GUIDED HIKE: LOOP OF THE HUTS AND THE SAINT JAUME DE CALAONS HERMITAGE

Departure from Catllar.
From the medieval village of Catllar, we will ascend among cistus and other Mediterranean vegetation along an ancient path sometimes lined with stone walls and huts up to the Saint Jaume de Calaons Priory, dedicated to silence where an hermit still lives today. Throughout this loop, we will discover a garrigue territory full of testimonies of a past life, with beautiful panoramas of the Canigo and Madres massifs.
