In 1902, Géo Lefèvre proposed a crazy idea to Henri Desgrange: to create a cycling race that would circle France. Thus, the Tour de France was born, which has become over the years the largest annual sporting event in the world.
This show retraces the first fifty years of this mythical adventure: the first mountain stages, the appearance of the yellow jersey, the Tour caravan, but also the impact of major historical events like the two world wars.
