Our favorite spot in Barcelona, plus it's located near the Sagrada Familia... and it's much less visited.

The Hospital de Sant Pau (Hospital de la Santa Creu i de Sant Pau) was designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The former hospital of Barcelona is one of the most important examples of Catalan Modernism, the Catalan version of the Art Nouveau movement. With its main building and pavilions, the Hospital de Santa Creu is the largest complex of Catalan modernist architecture, BEAUTIFUL!
