Pink October in St. Etienne du Grès

Building on the success of the first two editions, the Town Hall, the CCAS, the Youth Municipal Council, and the associations and merchants of the village are once again uniting for this major cause. In 2024, €1150 was raised during the operation. In 2025, €2154.90 was donated to the fight against breast cancer. In 2026, let's rise to the challenge and collect even more donations!

The program of activities for the month of October:

• A symbolic illumination From October 1st to 30th, the town hall of Saint-Étienne du Grès will be illuminated in pink every night. A visual and committed initiative to show collective solidarity against breast cancer.

• Donation boxes at local shops Made by the Artistic Association, donation boxes will be placed throughout the month at local merchants to collect spare change from residents and visitors. The donation boxes, a financial initiative.

• A big solidarity morning: Saturday, October 17th Join us in the heart of the village for a morning of activities and collection:

• Solidarity walk in the Alpilles (minimum €5 per participant): Led by René Plan from the Alpilles Rando association, this easy 2-hour walk will start at 9 am (registration from 8:30 am on site). Bring your walking shoes and your water bottle. A snack will be provided by the merchants and artisans association "Les Pro’ du Grès".

• Prevention & Health Workshops (Square Dorlhac de Borne): The village nurses will lead a self-examination and information workshop.

• Charity sales and activities:
  • Sale of items created by the Artistic Association.
  • Coffee, donuts, keychains, and pink ribbons offered by the APE du Grès.
  • Raffle organized by the Flamingos association.
  • Sale of roses.
  • Takeaway paella by Jean Broche.

• Musical interlude during the morning Singing performance by Manon Ladoré and the Note d’Art’istes association (donation participation).

• Dance demonstrations at the end of the morning Zumba initiation led by Myriam Martorel to highlight the benefits of physical activity (donation participation).
