Heir to a long tradition, this valley "Pieve d'Olmia", has a natural and architectural heritage that the organizers of the Rencontres de Calenzana promote through music.

Every year, several concerts are organized in several villages in Balagne. Classical music is in the spotlight during this festival in Corsica.

The Classical and Contemporary Music Meetings are now essential events in the island's cultural offerings.

Near Calvi, Calenzana radiates between the sea and the Corsican mountains. These musical encounters combine the quality of the performers and the works with human warmth.

This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Calenzana Classical and Contemporary Music Meetings!
There will be 30 concerts, half of which will be free, in 19 villages in Balagne, and in 23 different locations.
As the tercentenary of Pasquale Paoli's birth is celebrated, the program will evoke the great man in the background, through composers of his time, in resonance with the Europe of the Enlightenment that he crossed and embodied.
