European Heritage Days - Visit to the Malicot Workshop

The workshop located in Sablé-sur-Sarthe by the banks of the Erve River was built in 1899 when Joseph Malicot (1874 - 1953) took over the family business of painter-glazier and added a photography section. It is the only functional photography workshop from the late 19th century still operating in France.
The visit will allow you to discover the unique features of a photographer's workshop from the late 19th to early 20th century.
