SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 2026: PYROTECHNIC SHOW AND DANCE
Due to the security measures put in place for the Festa Major, here are the regulations in effect for this event:

• Closure of the port entrance, swimming and navigation prohibited in the 300m zone from 8:00 PM until the end of the festivities (around 11:00 PM).

A detour to bypass the city center will be implemented starting at 9:00 PM:

• Motorists coming from Port-Vendres heading towards Cerbère will take the following route: Bigeard roundabout / G. Clémenceau street / train station avenue / Angles street / J. Ferry street / G. Malé avenue / Espolla Rabos street / Joliot Curie street / Fontaulé avenue / P. Fabre avenue / Côte Vermeille avenue then towards Cerbère;

• Motorists coming from Cerbère heading towards Port-Vendres will take the following route: Côte Vermeille avenue / Pierre Fabre avenue / Fontaulé avenue / Joliot Curie street / Espolla Rabos street / Guy Malé avenue / Mas Reig road, Mas Ventous road, Pere Carnere roundabout then towards Port-Vendres.

• The detour will be lifted 30 minutes after the end of the festivities in agreement with law enforcement.

Parking prohibition:

• Parking is prohibited from Friday, August 28 at 8:00 AM to Saturday, August 29 at 8:00 AM: Joliot Curie street from the "La Baillaury" residence to the Place de la Résistance; and Espolla-Rabos street, on both sides of the road.

• Parking is prohibited from Friday, August 28 at 6:00 PM to Saturday, August 29 at 2:00 AM: blue zones and delivery areas on Avenue de la République and blue zones located near the Town Hall, Avenue Général de Gaulle.

• The shared meal on the esplanade is open to everyone! Reserve a table whether you are with family, friends, or even alone, take a seat, bring your utensils and your picnic, and share a great moment of conviviality facing the sea.

• Musical entertainment will start at 7:00 PM and will stop at 10:00 PM for the fireworks display, then resume after the show.
