Walk with a Shepherd in Iraty

Morning discovery of the shepherd profession in Iraty with Jean Michel, shepherd. Meal featuring local farm products. A 5 km walk accessible to anyone in good health. A climb of about 40 minutes will take you to the herd, after which Jean Michel will explain how everyone will position themselves to guide the herd down to the corral. Those who wish can participate in counting and closely observe the care given to the ewes. The group will gather for an aperitif and share a meal made from farm and local products.
Meeting point at the Peotenia farm in St Jean le Vieux. Reservation required. Additional days available for groups of more than 13 people.
