GUIDED TOUR OF THE SCHOONER MIGUEL CALDENTEY

The schooner Miguel Caldentey, classified as a historical monument and named after its first owner, was built in 1913 by a master carpenter in Palma de Mallorca. It was used for transporting grains, citrus fruits, and construction materials. Its main commercial destinations were Mallorca, Barcelona, Marseille, Sète, and Port-Vendres.
Today, the Miguel Caldentey is one of the very few examples of this type of schooner that has managed to withstand the test of time. It is also the largest sailing vessel undergoing restoration along the French Mediterranean coast.
