Introduction to the art of Stained Glass “Tiffany” with Mélanie Cornu

An ideal workshop to get started in Glass Art and leave with your unique piece crafted by your hands, to admire at home or to give as a gift! I offer two workshops according to your choice:

• Workshop 1:
Creation of a "Tiffany" Stained Glass hanging (mobile type) based on a proposed model or of your choice. Choice of 4 to 5 colored glass pieces.
Duration of the workshop approximately 2h30 - Price 95 euros.

• Workshop 2:
Creation of a "Tiffany" Stained Glass mirror or based on a model of your choice. Choice of 6 to 8 colored pieces.
Duration of the workshop approximately 3 hours. Price 135 euros.

The introductory workshops take place in several steps:
Choosing the model that you will create. I will assist you in cutting colored glass using a template, according to your design. Each piece will be carefully ground to fit perfectly with the others before being wrapped in copper foil, an emblematic gesture of the "Tiffany" Stained Glass technique. Then comes the moment of soldering with tin, a step where the glass pieces will unite to bring your creation to life.

The materials will be provided, and you will leave with your own "Tiffany" Stained Glass, the result of meticulous work and a moment out of time!
