Artistic Encounters of October 2026

Every quarter, the Artistic Encounters, organized by the Maisons pour tous Albert Camus, Marie Curie, Rosa-Lee Parks, Louis Feuillade and Voltaire in the form of cultural events accessible to all, invite you to open up to art, a universal language, an inexhaustible source of wonder and reflection.

From October 3 to December 16, 2026, the Artistic Encounters welcome you for a creative journey, accessible to everyone. Designed as a true bridge "from the eye to the hand", this quarterly meeting extends the discovery of the city's major exhibitions and events through practical engagement: we look, we marvel, then we experiment, we manipulate, and we create!
Whether you come solo, with friends, with your little ones (from 2-3 years old) or your teenagers, let yourself be surprised by a rich program that harmonizes conviviality, sharing, and cultural emancipation.

October: "Design: Living with Forms"

In response to the major retrospective of Pierre Paulin at the Fabre Museum. Design does not merely create objects: it accompanies our gestures and transforms our daily lives.

• Visits and strolls: sensory and playful visits for families at the Fabre Museum, adult guided tour of the Pierre Paulin retrospective, discovery of the exhibition L’atelier Nebout // Lieux et liens at La Fenêtre, or an urban adventure along the Lez to discover contemporary masterpieces (l'Arbre Blanc, the RBC Design Center, the Nuage...).

• Practice & workshops: family design initiation (designing a modular chillbox), workshop on creating furniture from cardboard and papier-mâché, paper folding and modeling, creative writing and body expression to "dance the space".

• Cinema & conferences: screening of the cut-paper animated film The Secret of the Tits (with behind-the-scenes making-of) and a conference on the conquest of organic forms in modern sculpture.
