JAZZÈBRE AT THE CINEMA: MO’ BETTER BLUES BY SPIKE LEE

Brooklyn in the late 60s. Bleek Gilliam learns to play the trumpet.

Twenty years later, he leads a jazz quintet in New York. Passionate about his craft, he runs away from his responsibilities and neglects his two mistresses, Clarke and Indigo, who bombard him with complaints.

He also cannot escape the tensions within the group. Shadow, the saxophonist, wants to lead his own band while Giant, the manager, is just a gambler drowning in debt.
