This year again, as part of World Deaf Day, which will take place during Heritage Days, we are organizing free guided tours in LSF for the deaf and hard of hearing public.

Free tours by reservation only at the Tourist Office reception, by email contact@ot-montpellier.fr or by phone

Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged over the centuries. A journey of a thousand years through the alleys of the historic center to immerse you in the unique atmosphere of the Écusson. The tour includes the discovery of the mikvé (medieval Jewish ritual bath) and a private mansion courtyard.

Let yourself be told the unusual story of Saint-Roch Church and its saint, an emblematic figure of Montpellier.

► 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: SAINT-CHARLES CHAPEL - LSF

In 1678, Louis XIV ordered the creation of a general hospital for the poor and the needy in Montpellier on the site of the Carmelite convent. The chapel assigned to the hospital, dedicated to Saint Charles, was enlarged and remodeled by Jean Giral in 1751 and then by Jacques Nogaret.
Classified as a historical monument in 1947, the chapel now hosts rehearsals for the city's choirs and concerts open to the public.
