Cerise, ten and a half, has a big ambition: to become a novelist. Her method? Observing people to imagine their lives and secrets. Living alone with her mother, the young girl uses her diary to try to unravel the mysteries of adults. Her investigations, true explorations of the soul, lead her to discover a part of herself, offering the audience a journey that blends humor and emotions.
This adaptation aims to be faithful to the original work: a universal, demanding, beautiful narrative without moralizing. Beyond the adventures of the little heroine, the show presents itself as a coming-of-age story. With great delicacy, it addresses the question of resilience after the loss of a loved one, specifically Cerise's father.
