European Heritage Days in Mouriès: The Protestant Temple

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the United Protestant Church of the Pays d'Arles invites you to discover the Protestant temple of Mouriès.

Open visits: Saturday, September 19 from 2 PM to 7 PM and Sunday, September 20 from 2 PM to 6 PM

The history of the Protestants of Mouriès intertwines with that of Les Baux de Provence.
The inscription "Post Tenebras Lux" on the temple's pediment is identical to that engraved on the pediment of a door in the village of Les Baux-de-Provence.
The temple, built in 1823, features a unique Protestant cemetery in the region.
For the first time, locals and visitors will be able to explore it.
