On Thursday, September 24, 2026, ALEC Montpellier Métropole and Urbanis invite you to visit 3 housing units undergoing renovation within two houses divided into several apartments by a landlord. The project began in 2024 and the work will soon be completed. This visit will give you a good overview of a large-scale energy renovation.

Renovating Apartments as a Landlord is Possible!

Over time, the 1930s apartments of this landlord had significantly deteriorated. Thanks to the support provided by Montpellier Métropole, a major renovation project has been implemented for 3 apartments (1 for the owner as a primary residence and 2 for rental at reduced rates).
The program includes: insulation, plumbing, electricity, installation of reversible air conditioning, and ventilation systems... Significant work has been carried out. And with aids like Ma Prime Logement Décent and the Loc’Avantages agreement, this landlord was able to unlock no less than €132,000 in aid (out of a total of €289,000 in works)!

Visit Schedule

During the 1.5-hour visit, you will have the opportunity to tour the 3 renovated apartments. Present will be an advisor from ALEC Montpellier Métropole, an expert in energy renovation of housing, and an advisor from Urbanis, who has followed the project from start to finish. The owner will also be on site to answer your questions.
